How much is it?
The cheapest piece is the $78 Slogan Tee. Most dresses and skirts sit between about $198 and $428, shoes run roughly $278 to $548, and the leather pieces are the most expensive, topped by the $748 Patti Leather Jacket. In the UK the range is £78 to £748, according to FashionNetwork.
Where can I buy it?
On Reformation's website and in select Reformation stores. Reformation has not listed which stores carry the full range, so check stock online before making a trip.
Is it selling out?
Fashion outlets including The Zoe Report have described the collection as selling out quickly. Reformation has not released sales figures. Because the collection is launching in two parts, more styles are still due, but Reformation has not announced a date for the second release.
What do editors say is worth buying?
Marie Claire had three editors try pieces at launch:
- Irina Grechko said the collection "exudes holiday dressing without looking too literal," and singled out the velvet pieces.
- Lauren Tappan layered a velvet chartreuse scarf over a navy trench and tailored trousers, saying it made a simple outfit feel intentional.
- Meguire Hennes called the babydoll dress the one she had been looking for, though she noted a long-sleeve mini labelled black looked closer to chocolate brown.
Vogue, Who What Wear, The Cut and New York magazine also recommended pieces, FashionNetwork reported.
How does it fit?
It depends on the piece. The Carolyn Skirt is a true column cut with no stretch, Marie Claire's Grechko said, so size up if your hips are much wider than your waist. The bags and the Red Carpet Scarf are one size. For everything else, use Reformation's size guide for each item.
Why Alexa Chung?
Reformation called Chung its "ultimate muse" and "everyone's longtime style inspiration," and said the aim was to make "referencing your style reference easier." The launch was celebrated with a party during Paris Fashion Week.
What to watch
The second drop. Reformation has confirmed a second part but not when it lands.
Restocks. Pieces that sell out first are the ones most likely to come back, if Reformation restocks at all.
