A Harry Styles tour documentary directed by John Wilson, the filmmaker behind HBO's How To With John Wilson, is reportedly being made for a full cinema release. It is built on footage from Styles' Madison Square Garden residency, which Wilson has been filming since August, according to a Variety report cited by NME.
Styles' team has not commented, and no release date or distributor has been announced.

What will the documentary show?
According to the report, the film will mix concert footage with off-stage material. One source told Variety it will feature "authentic human stories of everyone involved in the tour," NME reported. That suggests a film about the fans and crew around the residency as much as about Styles himself.
That would suit Wilson. His HBO series is known for wandering, deadpan footage of everyday New York life.
How is this different from "One Night in Manchester"?
Styles' last concert film, Harry Styles: One Night in Manchester, was a straight live film from Love On Tour that went to Netflix. This one is reportedly headed to cinemas and leans more toward documentary.
Was John Wilson seen filming?
Yes. A fan posted on X on October 16 that Wilson was filming Styles in New York, NME reported. That was the same night Styles debuted an unreleased song for Liam Payne at the Garden. Read more about Styles' "What Is Enough" tribute.
When does the residency end?
Styles' 30-show run at Madison Square Garden continues through Halloween. It is the only U.S. stop on the Together, Together tour, which supports his fourth album, Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally. Jamie xx opens.
