Where the teams stand

Dallas (2-3) has alternated wins and losses all season and is coming off a 16-24 home loss to Tampa Bay on Thursday Night Football, the Buccaneers' first win of the year. The Cowboys' defence has given up 27.2 points per game.

Green Bay (3-2) is coming off its biggest win of the season, 31-7 over Chicago. The season so far: a 39-22 loss at Minnesota, a 20-17 win at the Jets, a 35-14 home loss to Atlanta, a 17-14 win at Tampa Bay, then the Bears.

The streak

Dallas has not beaten Green Bay since 2016, Dak Prescott's rookie season. Since then the Cowboys have lost three regular-season games and two playoff games to the Packers.

The last meeting was strange even by this rivalry's standards: a 40-40 overtime tie in Arlington on September 28, 2025.

A Year After the Dodgers Swept Them, the Brewers Swept the Dodgers. Down 4-0 in Game 4, Milwaukee Is Going to Its First World Series Since 1982.

Shohei Ohtani's three-run homer put the two-time defending champions up 4-0 in the second inning at Dodger Stadium. Milwaukee answered with six unanswered runs, a go-ahead homer from Garrett Mitchell and a ninth-inning shot by No. 9 hitter David Hamilton, and won 6-4 to finish a four-game sweep.
