Is U2 touring the U.S., UK and Europe?

Not yet officially. The band said UK, European and North American dates will be announced "in the coming weeks," and Premier Guitar reported that a return to Ireland is planned as part of the 50th-anniversary celebrations.

Why is Chile left out?

U2 have played Chile four times, most recently at Santiago's Estadio Nacional in October 2017. This time, talks fell through, NME reported, citing La Tercera, which said negotiations had been going on since 2025.

In March, the paper reported that authorities had started putting sporting events ahead of concerts at the Estadio Nacional, the only venue big enough for U2's production. NME noted that it is not established whether that caused the collapse, and the band have not commented.

What will the show be like?

"It's a dare, to ourselves as much as anyone, to try and have the best night of anybody's life," the band said. Drummer Larry Mullen Jr. returns to full touring after neck and back surgery, which kept him out of the band's Las Vegas Sphere residency.
