What were the biggest Week 6 storylines?

1. The Eagles are in trouble. Two seasons after a Super Bowl title, Philadelphia is 2-4. Without Jalen Hurts or Saquon Barkley, the Eagles lost 25-14 at home to Carolina. Bryce Young threw for 281 yards and two touchdowns to tight end Tommy Tremble, according to AP. On Monday came worse news: Hurts is expected to miss the season with blood clots in his lungs.

2. Arizona wins without a touchdown. The Cardinals beat the Rams 18-16 on Chad Ryland's sixth field goal, a 43-yarder as time expired. New coach Mike LaFleur beat his former boss Sean McVay. AP noted that Arizona's defense had given up 148 points during its four-game losing streak.

3. Allen catches Kelly. Josh Allen tied Jim Kelly's Bills record of 258 touchdown passes in a 33-30 win at Las Vegas. Buffalo is 5-1.

4. Rodgers catches Manning. At 42, Aaron Rodgers threw two late touchdown passes as Pittsburgh came back from 13 points down in the fourth quarter to beat Tampa Bay 26-19 in overtime. That gives him 539 career TD passes, tying Peyton Manning for third all time.

5. Cleveland keeps winning close. Deshaun Watson's 33-yard completion to Jerry Jeudy set up Andre Szmyt's 37-yard field goal on the final snap, and the Browns beat Baltimore 13-10. All four of their wins under first-year coach Todd Monken were decided late, according to AP.

6. The Chargers are 0-6. A 22-6 loss at Arrowhead dropped Los Angeles to the bottom of the league, alongside the 0-5 Dolphins.

7. Green Bay handles Dallas. The Packers beat the Cowboys 23-13 on Sunday night. Green Bay is 4-2, and Dallas falls to 2-4.

What's next in Week 7?

Week 7 opens Thursday with Patriots at Bears on Prime Video. Sunday's slate includes Steelers vs. Saints in Paris and Chiefs at Seahawks on Sunday night. The Bills, Chargers, Commanders and Jaguars are on byes.
